Installed the Thermaltake TR2 600-Watt ATX, and the GEFORCE GTX 760 (500w required) into my HP Pavilion HPE h8-1120 Desktop. (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03019166&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c03019166/loc:3&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5156846&task=#N771).
I restarted the comp, everything plugged in (card uses a 6 pin), power going to everything, but the screen only got to the blue HP welcome screen and nothing else. I was hoping to see the new hardware message, but Windows won't even start up. Removed new GPU, and put the old one back in...everything started like normal.
Installed the new drivers with old card in place...the went ok...put back new GPU, but still nothing.
Is it possible the power supply is not strong enough for the GPU or could I have a 'dead' PSU?
any help would be great...Thanks!
Keith
