So, I recently installed windows 10 64-bit and sudently my pc stopped showing the 6gb of ram it showed on windows 7. I searched and it says that 2.5gb are hardware reserved and it is really pissing me off because I can't even browse without having a popup saying memory is low. Games that require 3gb of ram do not work when they did before.
Ram sticks are working and they even show up in cpu-z and windows knows that there are 6gb of ram installed it just doesn't care.

More a question for this forum part,

no offence, but more people interested in ram problems look there.

Looked via msconfig->boot->advanced options and see if max mem is unchecked?
Might need to enable memory remapping as well in the bios.
Make sure that XMP is anabled in the bios.
See if there's just the smallest amount available for the integrated gpu in the bios.
You could also take the ram out,do a clear cmos, after that put the ram back in and enable XMP.

Just look at these one by one.

i've checked the ms config before, it's unchecked. My bios doesn't really allow me to do much other then change the boot priority.

I've checked multiple times online for solutions but they all are related to the msconfig max memory box which is not my case
