A hack or hidden setting will be found, corporate will not allow this and Recall, especially financial sector, I bet the regulators are already gearing up to slap down Microsoft.
Exactly. The privacy hijackers could be run by an exe or dll that can be disabled, or controlled by registry keys that can be locked to keep windows from changing them, or whatever method the malware uses to run, can be overriden and permanently turned off. The method will be discovered and the problem defeated.
