About a week ago I was using my computer when both my monitors turned off and wouldn't reconnect to my computer even though my computer was wrong. When I restarted my computer it booted to a blue screen that said: Recovery, it looks like Windows didn't load correctly. So I reset my computer and kept the personal files. Even after the reset I was still having the issue so I thought that it wasn't windows anymore.

For the past week I thought that it was a hardware issue so I have been trying to figure out what piece of hardware it was that was causing the issue.

I ran multiple tests on each of my components but they all seemed to be working fine. A couple of days ago I booted my computer in safe mode to see if I had the same issue and I didn't. My computer would work fine while in safe mode put when I took it out of safe mode the problem persisted.

I have tried literally everything I find on the internet to try to fix this problem but so far nothing has worked. Hopefully I can find a fix here.

I had an original forum post under hardware but I decided to come here to see if I get any new ideas.

Hello

When you say you've tried almost everything, can you please elaborate what troubleshooting measures did you take?

Also, please check if you tried updating your graphics card driver, installed all the latest Windows updates, tried Running the CHKDSK and SFC /SCANNOW commands, etc. You may also want to check if any BIOS update is available for your Motherboard.

Since the issue didn't appear in Safe Mode, the culprit could be any virus, or graphics card and/or NIC driver.

Please report back with the requested details to allow us to assist you in a better way.

Cheers!!

So I already tried sfc /scannow, I've tried running a repair install, a reset, the CHKDSK commands, I've tried to fix the image and tried a new one. The issue will sometimes happen in safe mode but not often.

When I try to reinstall my graphics card drivers in safe mode the problem happens and it stops the download.
