windows restore point error 0x80070017

Hi

I've been away for about 2 months and just came back to find my desktop computer not starting up. It tries to repair it self but keeps restarting. I've tried to do a system restore and it still wont work. It keeps coming up with this error message.



Apparently no have used my desktop, but some how it managed to stuff up by it self. Appreciate any help/comment

yep did that and i can transfer data over

thanks for all your help. I just wish i knew how this happened....no one is owning up to it lol.
