Hello, I recently got a VAIO Flip 15. I configured it to have a 256 SSD.
Now when I look at my C:/ drive, it tells me that I have 158 of 200 GB available. What happened to the other 56 GB? Any logical explanation?

EDIT: I'm aware of the difference between 1 GB being 1.000.000.000 bytes or 1024x1024x1024 bytes. But even then I arrive at 238 GB instead of 200...

Solution
Thank you but that is not what I needed.

Go to Start>Run and when the Run box opens up type in diskmgmt.msc and hit Enter. That will bring up the Disk Management Console. Please post a screenshot of that.

Thanks!

Yogi

Hey, here's a screenshot:

It's dutch, but I guess it speaks for itself. I've installed some programs, so it's now 118 of 200 gb left.

Ah, I guess I get it myself now. Space on the SSD that is reserved for recovery (dutch herstel)
