Hello, I'm getting this pop-up every time I open my laptop. I tried some of the methods given in the link below but couldn't get rid or solve this.

Link : https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-windows-script-host-errors/

I don't know how to attach screenshot to this thread , but it reads as this :

Title : Windows Script Host
Script : C:\Users\Dheeraj Kirdanti\AppData\Local\Updates\Run.vbs
Line : 31
Char : 1
Error : The system cannot find the file specified.
Code : 80070002
Source : (null)

Laptop : ASUS A15 TUF GAMING
Processor : Ryzen 7 4800H
RAM : 8gb Single
Video Card : Nvidia RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

Thanks.

Solution
You can run chkdsk. Also, try turning off or disabling all startup programs you may have. Then if if stops then you know it is one of those. Simply turn one on at a time until you find the culprit. Sorry, if you open updates folder(user\DHEERAJ\APPDATA\LOCALUPDATES) what if anything is in the folder?

I'm a noob. So I don't know how to check the disk. I switched of every startup program. But I'll try it again.
I simply deleted that folder.

You are most likely infected with a virus or malware

show us the contents of Run.vbs

window script shouldn’t be running any VBS files whatsoever unless you’re doing it so that means somebody else is doing it
