Windows setup issue

I am trying to create a windows 8.1 ISO using the download from windows. It says it is unable to create an ISO when I try is there anything I can do?

Yes. And windows support just blows me off.

Do you have a Win 8 or a Win 8.1 product key? See the note on the link:

"If you don't have a Windows 8.1 product key, you can't create installation media. You can't use a Windows 8 product key for this."

I think your answer to that question is indicated in the lack of response from OP.
