Hello i just built a computer literally a day ago with these specs
GIG 970A UD3P AM3+ mobo
GTX 960 100ME 2gig
AMD FX 6300
600w Corsair PSU
8gb ddr3 ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I was downloading a firewall whilst watching a youtube video and my computer encountered a BSOD, from then it restarted then updated windows seven and at around 33% there was an error regarding bitdefender? I didnt manage to see the full error because two seconds after my computer rebooted and continued the installation, after that minutes ago I could not open neither google chrome or IE after restarting my computer and furiously clicking google chrome it finally opened. I have no idea what happened, i think a possible theory is that i have too many firewalls, i was downloading avast and avg and i already had searchndestroy and Malware bytes this is my first build but doesnt having too many firewalls cause system instability? Thats my theory however but im 15 so i dont know this is my first build and id rather fix this so i dont get another BSOD.

For most people, the firewall in Windows 7 is sufficient.

You definitely don't want more than 1 AV on your system though. If the error was regarding bitdefender, uninstall it and see if the problem goes away. Then install Avast or AVG, not both.
