windows sign in is locked

I haven't had internet on my windows dell7 for about a yr. I just got it turned back on and when I put my password in, it says its wrong. I have tried everything i can think of and nothing works. i don't have a back up disc or a reinstall disc. how can i get on my desktop? any help would be appreciated. thank you. I have a disc for utilities and drivers, will that help?
