A friend of mine called me today saying the internet on his pc stopped . When I went to look i tried to run the windows troubleshooter on the internet connection ( has a cross for the internet in network and sharing center .
It gives me an error message saying the trouble shooter cannot run with the error code 0x800706f7 . I searched that and majority of posts i found say that a windows update kb3004394 is the culprit and once removed the trouble shooter should work .
The problem is the update history is showing that update but when I go to try uninstall it I cannot find that update . I am stumped here , what can I do in order to get the trouble shooter to work.
