Windows Update after SP2

So I installed Vista x64 Ultimate SP1 and installed SP2 (through Windows Update and via the download, tried a reinstall of Vista to see if it would fix the issue) and it just sits there now, checking for updates.

I let it run all night last night (Probably a good 8 hours?) and was still checking for updates. I was looking around the net for fixes and noticed theres mutliple "fixes"

Has anyone had any luck with fixing this issue personally? Should I find an ISO with Vista X64 Ultimate SP2 so I dont have to DL SP2?

Im putting it on an extra SSD I had laying around to mess with it since, well, its being put to rest today. My daily driver is Windows 10.
