Question Windows Update Only Working When Connected Via Ethernet

So recently, my brother got a new laptop for college, and I have had multiple issues with it already. Primarily the fact that windows update doesn't work when connected to wifi, only when it is wired. When checking for updates on wifi, it says the it couldn't connect to the windows update service and to make sure I'm connected to the internet. This type of error is apparent on others windows applications like the Microsoft Store and Office. Any help to try and figure out why this is happening or how to fix it is appreciated.

You might want to see if metered connection option is turned on.

Just checked and Metered Connection was turned off.
Any other ideas?
