Windows updates failing since July, PLEASE HELP!!

Hello recently i started to notice that my computer never really adds the windows updates they always fail, i check the history and updates have been failing since July (i never knew as i never turned off my computer in the summer) even the update to upgrade to windows 10 failed ;/

-I have tried running the windows repair tool
-Going into the cmd and disabling and then enabling the updates
-clearing the c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download folder

Nothing seems to work its really getting irritating

If u have a backup of your PC............ then restor it..........

and then try to update

Is Windows Update showing you an error code? Also, If you click the more info link next to a Windows Update error code, you will often be directed to the Windows Update Troubleshooter. I have found this helpful in the past to resolve Windows Update problems. Or you can try searching for the Windows Update troubleshooter directly.
