Windows Updates keep failing

So these updates continually fail. It's driving me insane, and I assume they're at least fairly important. I've already tried installing that Windows Standalone Updater thingie that they recommend, and of course, that didn't work. So I have no idea what to do.

I have had this same issue, i tried for hours to fix it without any luck, I wound up fixing it by re-installing windows on the pc, make sure you have important files backed up if you do this.

Dang man. I seriously want to avoid that if I can.
