Regarding Windows Update, I can click to update Windows and it does 2-3 times a day which shows in history.
However, If I do not click on update, it does not show that any updates have occurred in history.
I have tried everything in Google including a recovery of an image, DISM following SFC, services.msc for Windows update.
I did not know how to attend to intelligent service however. I have been told services says it should be set to manual which it is. It showed that way on the system recovery too.

Is there anything different than what Google has to offer to help my Windows update to run automatically.

This shows the message I get after I have been manually updating and run the trouble shooter. I then went to services dot MSC and under Windows Update it had stopped, and it was manual bits was the same it was manual and stopped I changed them both to automatic and running should I just leave it with what the troubleshooter says are my modifications alright?

i guess answer will be if any new updates show in history. That you didn't click yourself.
Windows update is complex to an average user like me so I keep it simple.
As it is installed BITS and WU are manual and off.
if you click the WU troubleshooter it alters other settings. I click to check updates a few times a week and usually the is a definition update and at time a cumulative one. I realize it is good to wait but for security patches I like to be up to date in case of new bugs around.
For advanced users this is elementary but for those like me who tried to understand it all, keep it simple and try my simple system.

It does.
This system, just now:

But if I didn't check, it would do it anyway, when it got around to it.

May I ask how you post an image or attachment? Usually there is an attachment that is obvious but I cannot see it. Also I think I asked before but am tired of searching this thread and not finding it. :)

You can't upload images here, You need to upload them to an image sharing website and post jpg in the insert image choice in text box or just paste into forums as it can normally work it out.
