Windows vista locking up with NVIDIA update

After updating NVIDIA driver, windows vista keeps locking up randomly. Can be every 30 minutes to a few hours in between. How can I remedy this

Go to device manager and "roll back" the driver it will restore the prior driver that you had installed.
