Hello, i have a problem with ethernet drivers for Windows XP
Can somebody give me ethernet drivers for Windows XP? (Motherboard is MSI MS-7236)
I found drivers on msi's website but i don't know how to install them. So a tutorial or a installation file would help :)
Thank you.

seem like you just down load the driver to a folder open it and click on the .exe to run the installer and install it ?? just like any other driver

use any computer and a pendrive and download it to that and stick it in the xp rig to copy it off the drive to desktop the run the installer [ I did this for my chipset drivers on my xp rig yesterday ??]

A tutorial on installing drivers? Really?

If the download is zipped, you unzip it first.
Then find the file named setup-exe, setup.msi, install.exe or similar and run it.

Some driver packages, however, arrive as "exe" files already so all you do is run it (double-click).

Back in the day (20 years ago) I had to learn that (and much more) for myself.

well I just got mine for xp and opened it from the file ? did not unzip it at all ? [downloaded on 7 copyed to pen drive stuck it in xp rig copyed from pen drive to xp desktop opened clicked the exe ?? now I'm getting old and my mind could be slipping some ?? [lol]

my xp board

oh , well its my mind I went to NVidia and got them all not msi - man it s getting that bad or not enough coffee yet today ??

sorry once more ,wow

well like said on the computer your on line with now rite click the desktop then new then folder [name it xp driver or what ever - down load the driver zip package to desktop then like phil said extract it into the new xp driver folder then copy the folder to a pen drive or something you can put in / move over to the xp rig and copy the folder off the pen drive /media to the xp rigs desktop open it and run the installers .exe

it then should start the install process just follow the prompts until finished reboot if prompted to do so and it should be installed and read to go

I guess I did not miss anything in all that ??
