Windows XP: Home Edition or Pro version?

I plan on buying (yes buying) Windows XP next week and i want to know if there are any substantial differences between the home version and the professional version. I use my computer for the Internet, online gaming and some business applications from time to time. But i want to switch from Windows 98SE / WinME. And also get an original copy of an operating system for the first time in my life... Pirated copies always gave me slight problems...

Unless you're going to be managing a large LAN, or running dual-processors then just get the Home Edition.

Another question... Are 3GB of free disk space enough for their proper installation? And are 128MB enough or will it run slower than a turtle?

3GB is enough. 128MB is ok, but you might want to upgrade to 256MB for more performance.
