Windows xp installation hangs

I tried to install my windows xp on my computer it hangs after showing the 39 minuts to install. the system hangs there. what could be the reason? can any one please help me.

probably hard drive or memory problem.

may be your cd corrupted or one file is not working well..try to install by other cd..

I think your bootable CD is not working or missing some file. Try another.
