Hello,
I m tying to reinstall window xp after change CMOS battery but window not install shows file .dll sys missing massage shows and window setup failed. Pl hepl me.
Is that problem with ram or any other

Solution
Could be ram, but could also be an ageing DVD-Drive, or scratches on the disk.
Overclocked machines also show this sometimes (again, overclocked RAM being the cause).
Perhaps try an external optical drive you lend from a friend or family member (and boot from it), or something in that line.

After changing the cmos all your bios settings will have reverted to defaults,if your system needs different settings then you will have to set them correctly.
The HDD is the same right? Why did you even started a re install? With nothing changed it should have run normally.just look at your bios settings.
