Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

It's hard to believe there's a system left working without Service Pack 2 but if yours is, go to Microsoft's website and download then install Service Pack 3. There will be over a hundred subsequent updates but you'll run your system better with than without.

If you're seeing a message about a different Service Pack, it may be .Net Framework SP2 - you will also find that in the Microsoft download pages.
