Windows10 Ethernet Problem

Hi,

My Windows 10 PC with a wired Ethernet connection failed to access the net one day, turned out the NIC was bad. I replaced and installed the new NIC (TP-LINK TG-3269). Still no internet access. I've done a successful loopback test on the cable and all lights are green on the router and the NIC. Here are the results from the "minitoolbox.exe" suggested by ZigZag (sorry I can't find the exact thread):

You said you installed a new NIC (TP-LINK TG-3269).
You post shows a Realtek PCI GBE Family Controller installed with a
Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.163.9(Preferred)

Uninstall the old NIC and drivers before you install the new one.
Make sure you tell the install where the new drivers are or Windows will use the old drivers in the default location that it knows.
