and with games, 3GB is enough anyways. he'd have to spend another couple a hundred $$$ to get a monitor to max out the gtx 295 (not that its top, its just pretty good).

3 is nice but 6 is better and 12 is awesome, that's why
and might wanna pop another 500 gb hdd or two to make raid 0
then it'll be epic imo
just my one and a half cent

ya they did kinda cheap out on this system, mine is like 3x the power, this is prolly a 1200 rig, meh not even a SSD thrown in...but still its free, grats!

This just goes to show people with complain about anything. It's a FREE computer. No where in the info do they say "We are giving away the best computer possible." The current setup will be able to run most games at max settings. In my opinion, TH should keep track of every person who complains about the 3gb of ram and automaticaly disqualify those people for any contest that isn't a complete computer build with at least 8GB of RAM and doesn't have at least an SSD or Raid setup HDD.

News flash, computers are upgradable. If it doesn't have everything you want in it, you can add more!

can we stop being ungrateful because of the RAM? sheesh if it came with 12 GB you'd complain about it too? "waaaaah waaah *cries* you don't need 12 GB for gaming T_T"
