winrar vs 7zip

what's better?i heard winrar 5.0 is better than 7zip but tom's hardware make a review at 2013 7zip is better than winrar so what should i go with

Winrar most defiantly, It has more functions and is more complex, If you want something really simple then go 7Zip, But Winrar is better. Also don't buy them! you can use the trial version of WinRar and the only downside is when you start the program up it gives you a little warning which you can close!

personally,ive not had problems with either one of them.both will unzip pretty much anything that you throw at them.

They are pretty much the same, With in a fees seconds of each other, Although WinRar has been in development longer, So is probably a bit faster.

so how to make winrar uses all threads of the cpu i got i7 4790k(with HT of course) when extracting and compressing
