Hi everyone,

Before I get my hands on a WinTV 350, I wanted to know how to set
everything up and get everything connected. Any weblinks or best
practices are appreciated.

How do I setup my WinTV 350, TV, VCR, DVD and stereo system into one
seamless entity?

I'd like to use the WinTV 350 as my DVR and remote control system.
However, I also want to play DVDs through my current DVD player as well
as play VCR tapes through my VCR. Finally, I'd like to plug the audio
out of the WinTV into my stereo to get the best sound possible (as
opposed to going through the TV speakers). Speaking of, I see the 350
has an audio in but where's the audio out?

I know everyone's setup is different but if you could share your
setups, I'd at least get some ideas.

Thanks!
CM

Sounds like you are going to need a programable remote or a lot of duct
tape. There is audio out on the 350 but it's only useful if you plan to
use the video out also. If you want to be able to play divx and wmv
files you will have to use the main video card TV out and sound card.
