I would like to sell or donate an old laptop, a Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345, 64 bit, Windows 7. I know I need to wipe the hard drive but would like to keep the preinstalled games that came with the laptop for the next owner. Any way to do this? If so, can you walk me through the steps to get rid of any personal information? I have already uninstalled programs and deleted personal files, but I know there are more steps I need to take to completely eliminate the chance of any of my personal data being recovered by anyone. Thank you!

The only way to fully eliminate the chance of your personal data being recovered is to replace the drive.

For a normal user, DBAN wiping the drive would be the best route, followed by a clean OS install.

What preinstalled games? The only games should be part of the Windows 10 installation - anything beyond that would remove the ability to wipe the drive and leave your data (potentially) recoverable.
