I just want to know if I can damage my hard drive from wiping the hard drive and reinstalling windows too much? I think I have a virus and i am just going to reinstall windows which is the easier way but I have already done it before and I dont mind doing it again.

If it's a mechanical HDD, then wipe-away, and re-install.
If it's a SSD, you can do so, but I would use the manufacturer's utility to do the wiping-out part of it.
