Question Wiping secondhand Laptop

Hi I just recently was given the chance of purchasing a dirty cheap old laptop from my former job, a HP Elite 2560p laptop, to my surprise the laptop is password protected and since the company has now shutdown I’ve been told that I won’t be receiving any help unlocking it and that they were selling them “as is”.

I’ve tried running third party whipping software from USB and DVD but the boot menu only allows access to the HHD and the BIOS are also password protected, any ideas how can I fix this and repurpose the laptop?
