wire connection for corsair vs650 watt psu

i recently purchased corsair 650 watt psu. but the problem is that i cannot connect the plug to the socket as it supports round spike plugs and the wire with the psu has square spike plug.
So i purchased a 15 ampere converter to plug in the wire
Do you think it will work???

What are you talking about? The power cable that comes with the power supply will fit into the power supply.

Are you talking about the end that goes into the wall?
