Wire Connection Slow

My wired connection is slow but only on my desktop. I have the most up to date drive on my Ethernet Card and Its not my Cat 5e because it gives me the full range of speed on my laptop when connection. I should be at 100+ Download but im setting on 9-10. This desktop does not have a wireless card. Im going to go ahead and reset the desktop (yet again). If that does not help, is there any advise other than RMAing the motherboard?

I'll preform any test that you ask of me.

I reinstalled and my speed seems to be back to normal. Im not sure if it was a corrupted driver or what.

And after a day its back again.

check inside case temp could it that the chipset overheath .

Hmm, i didnt' really think it would be heat because of the H100i but the speed test show it is back down. This may be the issue as its normal during the day but peek hours seems to start slowing down. Also noticed I think i deleted Corsair Link

So my network seems to be fine during the day but down by 90% at night. I dont understand why, the temps are reading fine too.

then do a dsl test when speed is good and when it goes down your isp could be throttling down to serve all is customer .

My ISP can't be the reason. Because Im running fine on other machines. My Laptop is getting 110+ Download. My Desktop is getting lower. Both wired in to the same box.

then i would try to interchance laptop cable to pc one first from box after if you have a pci network card around try her for test not using the internal one .

Dont have a PCI network card around and my laptop is using the same cable as my desktop

that lead to a bad network chipset on the motherboard so if you could get a pci network card and use it to replace the onboard one .

So my only two options are to replace the onboard one with a PCI Network card or RMA the motherboard? Sure its not anything Software related?

if both the laptop and pc tower have same network settings then that the only option you have .
