Wired and Wireless at the same time

good day,

I have 2 computers that is connected wirelessly to access point to get to the internet, but these two computer use a printer witch works with network cable, the printer and the two pc are connected to a switch and was working fine for the last year.

bunt now the two computers can not connect to the internet while the network cable connected to the printer is on, only thing that has changes was the default gateway on the internet router.

any ideas why the gateway would make a difference to the network printer

Bit confused about the setup, are you saying your computers are both on the WiFi and on Ethernet connections?

Not really sure how you have things hooked up here. Is the printer not on the router that your access point is connected to? Seems like you have a more complex setup than you need, why not just connect the switch to the router and forget the wifi connection. Or connect the printer to the router and forget the switch?
