Wired or wireless Game pad.?

I wanted to purchase a game pad? which will serve more on the long run? a wired or wireless gamepad? also which one shud i choose for my gaming pc, xbox controller or a logitech one? wanna play games like Battlefield 4, CoD ghosts, PES 2014, FIFA 14 etc//..

Wired is probably better, no charging, easier to connect. And get whichever controller you like more, it comes down to comfort. I suggest the X-360, great controller. And it's already compatible with steam OS, it will auto detect.
