Wireless adapter 32 bit in a 64 bit slot

I just pulled this DWA 552 out of an old computer and figured I could make nice use of this in my desktop seeing as I like to travel with it. However without realizing till I opened it up that my computer only has 64 bit pci slots and this is a 32bit card im trying to put in. From what ive found there isnt a way to make this work but im posting this in hopes to be wrong

As far as I know, 32 bit is backwards compatible from 64bit.
