I have been trying to find information about Linksys' wireless signal booster. Can anyone tell me if this is a worthy buy? Does the booster really add much enhancement to the original signal strength?

I have generally found that you are better off to invest in a decent antenna rather than signal amplifiers. The antennas that come with most APs (including the LinkSys) have a +2dBi gain. You can go to anything up to +16dBi with a 100mw radio and still remain inside FCC EIRP guidelines. Keep in mind that decibels are a logarithmic scale, so roughly every increase of 3dB actually doubles your signal strength. A decent antenna can therefore give you significantly better reception and throughput. All that said, amps do work (albeit not as effectively as a good antenna) and make a fairly simple solution.

It is only good for increasing receiving sensitivity since linsys products are poor in that way..

Otherway increasing Tx power of your 32 mW AP to 100 mW will not worth to buy one..
