Wireless card connection output to lan (ICS)

I'm working on a coop project and what im trying todo is connect this desktop pc to the schools wifi using the wireless card then using the LAN port to a router to allow connection of more wireless devices (using a different SSID and password).

I have enabled sharing on the wifi card (ICS) and set up the router to broadcast the new SSID but when you connect there is still no internet. I have tried plugging my laptop into the LAN port of the pc but that also doesn't work.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome I don't want to use any 3rd party software
also when I enable ICS I don't get any drop down box I seen in one tutorial that they had a drop box could this be the problem?

So on that screen, everything should be set as is, DNS should be automatic, IP should be as discussed above, subnet and gateway of 192.168.137.1


Also, on the windows PC that is doing the sharing, goto a command prompt and do an ipconfig /all

see if it did indeed assign the 192.168.137.1

It wont allow me to leave dns as auto and ip as static

then set the DNS to the the same as gateway, or failing that, to the google DNS's of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

The dns same as gateway didn't get any internet then tried the google but that also isn't getting any internet while both pc's are in a lan port shouldn't the ics pc go into the internet port of the router though since its supplying?

getting ip 192.168.1.1 both the main pc and test when doing ip config get the router it seems but no internet on the test The router page also when I open it says no internet connection to check for updates so there still must be something between the main pc and router.
