wireless card missing?

I just bought a toshiba satellite c55-a-10d and the wireless card is not displayed under the network adapters.I dont know what to do.Could someone give me any tips?

Check in device manager and see if it appears and if enabled, some laptops have a pushbutton or touch pad above the keyboard to enable/disable

the only things in device manager/network adapter are the atheros ethernet controller and the bluetooth diveces.and i dont have any buttons

Try to find out the model of your wireless card and download its drivers. Its possible that you have to download them from wireless card manufacturer's website not from toshiba's.
Check in BIOS, the wireless card model may be mentioned there.

It is not likely. You have only to find the right drivers for your card.

Try by downloading "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter drivers", for windows you are using.
