Wireless Connection not connecting

Hello,
I have the linksys wireless router. My son is trying to connect to the network. We have entered the key and cannot connect. Any suggestions?

I assumed this wireless router is already "set up" ( the IP add entered to specific boxes for the router, password, etc. Your ISP will tell you this.) - Make sure the router is visible to the computer you are trying to connect. If the router will broadcast the SSID then you will see that in your computer then if you try to connect with a protected set up it will ask you for a key and a password. I guess in your case the key is mispelled.
