Wireless extender tp-link wa730re v2 cant set up

I had to change channel on my main router so that my chrome cast could operate normally as other channel was flooded. So anyway now my extender that i have lost connection as i switched channel.

Problem is that i cant log into range extender when i plug it into my PC as i dont know the right ip adres of its gateway.
If i try running trough cmd command "ipconfig/all" or "ipconfig" it wont show its gateway ...it is just blank. And the default ip written on router does not work.

Easy setup asistent for tp-link extender also does not work as i cant pass the page when it asks for correct ip adres.

How can i find its gateway, or is there any other way to configure it to new wifi channel?

Do a factory reset on the device, and set it up again. You can find out how to do that in the user manual.

well thanks for reply, and yes hmm....strangely i fixed my problem but by pure luck i suppose. I did factory reset even before i posted this question but i failed to mention it.

Anyway, apparently i could get in router settings from browser while "easy setup" utility was running. Even tho that utility always brings up errors and i couldnt set it up with it. It kinda looks like it would open some ports. The moment i closed utility is the moment i could not use router settings from browser.

So i just kept in next try utility open even tho i didnt touch anything in it, and yes i could enter router from browser and set it up as i liked. And now it works just find.

Was just pure luck i guess.
