Wireless-g usb network adapter driver x64

Hello,
im about to pull my hair out i have win7 x 64 and i can't find the driver that will work for a wusb54g ver.4 if i could get a link that would be awsome and not cisco because theirs does not work

they only list the Vista driver for your model...

You can try installing it in Vista Compatiblity mode in Windows 7.

yes it is a pos linksys vista driver should work as long as its 64x because already found a few dozenof the 32 bit also a ralink i think its called but i can't find a legit download link anywhere

thats the problem all i can find is sys file's no .exe files to run it or i would the only things i have found is manual uploads and window does not reconize them as being compataible aka will not install

You have to accept their agreement or else it will not download the .exe file. I was able to download the .exe.

ps i also have a driver updater program being that i am alittle lazy usally i just copy my driver for a reinstall but in this case its a new used product to me

Okay, I ran it, and gave me two files, a .sys and a .inf.

If it shows it Device Manager as not working, choose to update the driver and point it to the .inf file or the .sys

ive been to cisco i have that file it will not reconize it as a driver file it does not install and its not an true exe try it all it is an unzip file for the info i unzipped and tried to update manualy sorry for my terrible english.

i do not know why it will not show the .sys file on my pc i pointed it to it you browse your computer for the files found and it will not load it. it's really pissing me off

Usually it only asks for the .inf file and Windows copies the .sys file itself to where it needs it.

You can try the link to that person's dropbox but I'm hesitant to use files from somewhere like that.

that download does not contain an inf file just these two setup info file and a sys file but when i do the manuel thing windows says cannot find file to update file blah blah

i wouldn't be doing it manuelly if windows update worked properly ps windows update sucks and gives me the wrong driver for my video card so i do things the hard way

watch it be a weird hardware problem which it shouldn't be because it is reconized. im going to smoke a cig i been f-ing with this thing for 2 days now being an advanced user myself. dude dont tear your hair out for this problem im bout to break it in a billion peices. let me know what you think

my opinion is, if your router supports wireless N, then spend $10 on one of Newegg.com's daily shell shocker deals. If you're in another country, I'm sure that you can find one somewhere else also.

I had one of these A couple years ago and there is no 64-bit driver. I did what Danny suggested and bought a new wireless card for $10 that did. Is saving $10 worth the hassle?
