Hey guys,

So my router is in the living room and my PC is in my bedroom (3 bedrooms + 1 living room roommate apartment) and I need a network solution for that.
Network over powerline won't work since my bedroom and the living room are not on the same electrical phase and I can rearrange them, the landlord won't let me.
My option atm are -

1) Google Wi-Fi (mesh), recieve Wi-Fi at 5Ghz from my router and connect with an ethernet cable to my PC (link: https://www.amazon.com/Google-WiFi-system-1-Pack-replac... )
2) A kickass PCIE Wi-Fi card - ASUS 4x4 802.11AC Wireless-AC3100 PCIe Adapter (PCE-AC88) (link: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-802-11AC-Wireless-AC3100-Ad...)
3) A random mesh option I found for gaming - Razer Portal Mesh Wi-Fi Router (link: https://www.amazon.com/Portal-Mesh-Wi-Fi-Router-high-pe...)

What would you use?

USB wifi adapter + a long usb cable to move it around won't cost you much compared to the mesh option. mimo and what not won't help your latency. if your internet is <100Mbs and you don't do file transfers or anything getting the really expensive one isn't going to make a difference.
Does your phone get good wifi in your room?

Regarding my phone - it's having some issues, though my laptop seems to be connected and works just fine.
I currently have a USB adapter (a crapy one), but my ping sux and I don't think it's network related (my PS4 is connected with a wire and it works perfectly).
Do you have any recommendations for a normal USB adapter? though I think I'd prefer a PCIE one since I have a slot available.

Another adapter won't help a lot. Most are already using the max Watts they are legally allowed to.

If you can't get a wired wifi closer then mesh might be the only option.
