Are Wireless Network Bridges a thing of the past?
do I need to now buy two full Wireless Routers and put them in bridge mode to bridge the gap?
I have a detached office/workspace and have been using a 802.11G wireless bridge pair, and one of my pair went up in smoke during a storm, right through the surge/UPS.
But I can't find anything to replace them short of a full AP/Router.
Ideas?
I guess it might be time to look into just running the wire.
Just thought I ask before I spend the $$$ for the new AP pair or sit down and get the 200-300ft of cable I would need to running it correctly from my current backbone switch.
Thanks for any input.
