I have a HP 5200N. Want to have it so I can print wireless. Would you buy the 690N or is there an aftermarket wireless print server that would work? I looked at the Startech PM1115UW, wasnt sure if that would do the trick.

Solution
Its really your choise.
Aftermarket rintservers are common components, not that heavenly pricetagged anymore.
... and so are printers.

Print out the printer info page, you will see how many prints it has served you.
Compare that with a known EOL figure for the printer - and make your decision.

Thanks,
This is a refurb printer for home use. It would take a lifetime to get thru 5000 prints.

Any recommendations of the aftermarket wifi printservers?

Cant recommend any specific model or type.
Try amazon using "print server".
And Ebay using the same search term.

If you run into a wifi range problem, any wifi extender will help you.
