I have my main router (Netgear Nighthawk R7000P) setup normally with WPA2 security enabled. I have my second router (Cisco EA4500) setup in bridge mode, same SSID as the main router, same password, etc also with WPA2 security enabled. Everything is working fine and I can get to all points on my network when connecting from either access point but I noticed when I am on a Skype call or using Wifi calling on my cell when I switch access points the call gets dropped. Is there something I have setup wrong or is it not possible to seamlessly switch real time streaming data across access points?

Solution
There is nothing setup wrong. Home WIFI doesn't handle seamless roaming. Some small business WIFI has "fast handover" to attempt to prevent this. But with most home WIFI you will get dropped connections when switching between WIFI sources.

Ok, that was my thought but wanted to verify it. Thanks!
