[SOLVED] wireless speed is slow compared to ethernet

I have ASUS USB-AC53 Nano adapter.

In wifi mode I can get 10 mbit speed, but on ethernet cable I can get 40 mbps.
I tested wifi adapter on anoher PC , there is no problem.

On my phone, I made a wifi hotspot. And connected to it from my PC with adapter. There is no problem speed is 40 mbps.

So what is problem? I am using win7 64 bit. sorry for english.

Maybe your usb wifi device are connected to a usb1 port ?

it is on usb 2.1

The "nano" devices have almost no antenna because of the small size. That is the problem. They just can't get a strong signal because of the small antenna.
