i Currently have a Netgear N600 i bought at Walmart since i live out in the country. I pay 35 per month for 100Mbps fiber optic. When i connect the laptop Directly using a Ethernet i get about 100 download and 100 upload. When i use the dual-band router i only get about 25 Mbps download. I talked to netgear and they had me do many configurations but nothing helped. They had me change the channels and resetting and stuff . Even if i have full signal bars i still dont get even half. The router says it supports up to 300+300 Mbps. would purchasing a different one make a difference? Should i get the N750. i Dont have many router options since i live out in the country so i can only go to Walmart.
