[SOLVED] Wireless USB adapter cannot find any networks

I have an Asus AC-51 WiFi USB adapter connected to my desktop, but when I go to connect to a Wireless Network, I get told there was no WiFi networks found. This is not a problem with the router as the WiFi works perfectly with any other device. Connecting to the network by Ethernet cable works with my desktop. What can I do to fix this? I've tried to uninstall the drivers for the adapter and restarted the computer while letting it reinstall the driver, but I saw no change. I've also tried doing a network reset, but it didn't change anything.

Try removing the driver, and instead of letting it auto-install try the driver from asus, had a similar problem with a TP-Link and that fixed it up. Sometimes windows does not get the best driver automatically...
