Wireless vs Wired Mouse for Gaming

Hello,
I was wondering if the input lag on a wireless mouse is actually noticeably worse than a wired one. I'm currently using a standard HP mouse, but it has tracking issues on smoother surfaces, even on my mousepad right now.

I do have a Logitech M510, but I feel like my movements are imprecise due to how heavy the mouse is.

I've always used standard HP/Dell mice and have found no problems with them.

The real issue is that I am very sensitive to the wire on the mouse. If there is any resistance at all due to the mouse snagging on something, or even the mouse pushing on its own wire (because it's too long), it drives me crazy.

I don't want to drop $50+ on a mouse, and I could get something like this for $10 dollars:

However, if input lag is actually a significant problem, I might get something like this, which is significantly more expensive at around $35:

I don't care about macros, but being able to change sensitivity on the fly would be nice.

Thanks

Are you sh$%$ing me! Adjustable weights for a mouse? It's just a game for crying out loud. Sorry, but I just didn't know that existed.
I always preferred wired devices. They are said to interfere with other signals that run on the 2.4GHz band, e.g, WiFi. Both of those mice look good, the main thing I care for when buying a mouse is the feel. If you can, go to a local computer shop to see if you can try a mouse, and then pick one that fits your hand.
Also, input lag isn't really a problem with wireless mice. I believe that it may be 1 ms more, but I don't think you would notice it.

Turns out the Zalman mouse is even heavier than my M510, and I can take out one battery with the M510 to make it lighter. I'll probably stick with my current mouse, then.
