Hi all I just got a amd Ryzen 5 1600. It cam with a stock coller. I also have a diferint coller. witch do you thaink is best for it ?

I dont know what hapend but I did not mean for it to do that. I made this post about 45 minits ago and it was not thaer and now it posted 3 times.

Just use the stock cooler that came with the cpu. Zip ties are not a good idea for the heatsink. Again, use the stock cooler.

LOL.. No The heat sink mounts corectly. The fan wuld requier some custom mounting ;P

looks like i will have too mount each and put a heat load test to see if eather will work. I do plan on oc on it.

the copper cooler (a Zalman i think) are good coolers, not sure if if they work with the AM4 socket, and if you don't have the proper hardware either way just use the stock cooler.

If you are bored and want to tinker, try them both just don't break your motherboard/cpu.

ok thout so about the coper.. Is it posabuel for the old cpu/mobo mount to be too much tintchion on top of the amd ryzon cpu mount? I'm asuming most hight of cpu's ar the same !?
