Witcher 3 fps help?!

Guys i have asus rog 1070 and i7 6700k and ddr4 rams with 3000 speed and i have asus vg248qe screen 1080p and i play witcher 3 on ultra buy my fps range from 80 to 56 whats going on is this normal or no? In freaking out

But If We Wanna Answer Public Let Me Explain U Maybe The Problem Was Like This
In Any Games We Got Some Graphical Situations IN Games During GamePlay . For Example When I USe Smokebombs In ASassins Creed Syndicate Or Unity Or Rogue The Fram Will Automacially Decrease Because Of The Fog Made From Smoke Bombs Or When Shooting To A Ship In Ac Rogue So It should Be Natural
So Tell Me In Which Situation U Got This Decrease Of Fps? And How Much U Play And Then It Occurs?? Its Also Natural After Playing About 2.3 Hours Ur Fps Drops A Little If u Dont Have Any Better Cooling System Than The Stock One Specially For Ur Cpu
When It Becomes Hot It Will Affect On Ur game
But If U See this Happening In Special Situations In Games So Dont Worry Because Its Natural. The Gpu Should Works Harder And The Fps Drops A Little There And Then It Will Restored. But If The Fps Didnt Returns . U Should Check Psu Too. Because After Any Hours Psu Will give U A Little Decrease Watt After Nonstop Games in Multiple Hours And If It Reaches The Minimum Watt For Ur Process It Will Decrease The Fps By Dont Working Ur Gpu Or Cpu At Max Performance

80 to 56 if pretty normal, novigrad takes alot mroe of your gpu.

i would turn hairworks garalt only and lock fps to 60, everything is normal.

There's nothing wrong here. The Witcher 3 is one of the most intensive games ever released. And you do know that's perfectly playable right?

If you wanna have more FPS with Witcher , disable HairWorks, reduce Shadow quality to high or lower (not ultra), grass density to high or lower (not ultra) and foliage distance to high or lower (not ultra).
Except for the HairWorks and foliage distance, you won't really notice the difference.
Moreover, if you have ENB (mod)...you can disable this too, if necessary.

Download nVidia Inspector, disable in-game v-sync and fps limiter (you are using RivaTuner to limit the fps, remember?) set v-sync either to adaptive or completely forced off, set the GPU to "Prefer Maximum Performance" or something like that, just set it so that it uses all of its power on the game profile. The Witcher 3 is very demanding, some settings eat a lot of fps, such as fooliage distance, shadows and HBAO+, both motion blur options also consume some fps, lower some of them down, then try again.
